MEET OUR THEATER LEADERS

Kristy Bertelson
I’ve been blessed to teach drama in Plano for over twelve years—from traditional performance clubs to scene work and improv. It’s such fun to see young actors grow their confidence while learning useful skills with friends. I also love all the laughing! When I’m not teaching, you can find me in a cozy corner reading, performing with Family Improv, or at church.

Aaron Jensen
I am 22 years old and hate actors…scratch that “hated” actors (past tense). Since around 6th grade I now, unfortunately, not only love actors, but the craft itself and have been involved with directing for almost 4 years. I love it so much that it will break out into my everyday life leaving those around me confused on if I am being genuine or not.  I often will describe myself to unwilling participants around me, saying things such as  “I am a man”, “a creative trailblazer”, “an improv enthusiast”, “a creature with the movement of a inflatable tube-man outside a rundown car dealership that only accepts cash (suspicious)”.  As you can see drama addiction is a real problem, please help me.

Kristin Hull
My name is Kristin Hull, I have been having a blast with Kristy Bertleson for almost 15 years. I have worked under Mrs. B. and along side her as a creative director for many of her productions. I love working with kids, helping them find their inner goofball and learning that making people laugh is fun!
